Charging options

So I work in an industrial area, the nearest public charger is 2miles from my work. My employers and co-workers are not very "green". I've been driving to/from work (32mi round trip) for almost a year now, but I could really use a charge for when I want to go further on the way to/from work. I was considering asking a local business if I could rent a parking space and an outlet. Which I probably could do. Just wondering if anyone has had similar situations.
