"Wow" the crowd responded. "What sort of efficiency do you get from that bad boy?"
"Err, well...uummm...30%?" replied the cunning inventor
"Oh" replied the gathering crowd. "What comes out of the exhaust?"
"Umm, well, it's funny you should mention that. Well, it's poisonous to humans and could contribute to the demise of the planet. But apart from those two things...what do you think?"
"Great" replied the crowd, "We want one!"
