Routine Battery Access Necessary?
I've been working on battery boxes all week. They are made of 1/8 inch Aluminum sheet. Four of the 5 boxes my rig will have are easy to access. They will be located below the driver and passenger seats. The fifth box replaces the old fuel tank and will hold 1/3 of the pack of 45, meaning 15 cells.

These are 130 Ah CALB cells probably sporting a mini-BMS board on each cell (haven't decided on the BMS yet).

Is it necessary to have easy access to all of the cells? I'd really like to avoid cutting yet another hole in the floor, at the very back of this Geo Tracker, to make access a simple matter of lifting a hatch. I'd like to just mount the sealed box where the fuel tank sat and just unbolt and lower the box when I want to peek inside for some reason.

Is this a really bad idea or not?

Thanks,
Peter H.
