Hi all,
This is my first post. Thanks for all the information you have been posting. I have been researching all things electric vehicle since I bought a 2006 Zap Xebra in November.
We live in Redmond WA and it is very hilly here so the zap stays at work in the valley because I am worried about hurting it climbing the hill home.
Today at lunch time with 4" of fresh snow we loaded 4 men and 2 dachshunds and took a trip across town to go to our favorite watering hole for lunch. What a blast to drive

I know the reverse or tadpole trike is more stable but with the low traction conditions today the zap was awesome. Many people stare and smile when we go by on a regular day and today was even more fun passing normal cars that could barely go.
I never thought I would ever power slide a xebra  but it was really controllable.
I realize that the micro cars time has come and gone but It sure is fun and usefull to. We have put on almost 180 miles so far. It really needs a more comfortable seat. I am amazed the previous owner put over 5k miles on it. They must have had an iron butt. I put a new spring from gpev on the front and will do the rears as soon as I get time. The front spring made a big difference. With the adjuster set to about 2" of sag it doesn't drop the wheel to the end of the travel at every crack in the road any more.
If anybody has an idea how to improve the horrible heater I would be glad to hear it. If I don't park it inside and dry it out real regular it fogs up so bad it really is not safe to drive. It does rain frequently here in the Seattle area.
Thanks
